To start, set an incense bowl, tea cups, savory dishes, desserts, fruits, silver & gold paper respectively.

Or use a 5-type set (also known as “Ngo Sae” set) which, in addition to the previous set, also includes seafood such as large crab or lobster for fortune and luck.

Other Dishes

Usually set with 5 – 10 favorite dishes of the ancestors but you should include at least one soupy dish as it signifies a smooth life without obstacles and one stir-fried noodle dish which signifies longevity.
