Ingredients for Thai deep-fried meatballs


1. My Choice Surimi Crab Sticks 1 pack

2. Tops Fish Ball 1 pack

3. My Choice Diced Fish Tofu 1 pack

4. Pork ball 1 pack

5. Crispy flour 100 g.

6. Rice flour 200 g.

7. Limewater 150 ml.

8. Cold water 150 ml.

9. Salt 1 tsp.

10. Ground white pepper 1 tsp.

11. Orange food coloring 1 tsp.

12. Palm oil for deep frying 1 bottle


Ingredients for dipping sauce


1. Tamarind juice 400 ml.

2. Palm sugar 400 g.

3. Granulated sugar 80 g.

4. Salt 2 tsp.

5. Plain water 200 ml.

6. Ground dried chili pepper 1 cup

7. Crushed roasted peanuts 1 cup

8. 1-2 sliced corianders




Instructions


1. Begin with dipping sauce for Thai deep-fried meatballs. Heat cooking pot over medium heat, add tamarind juice, granulated sugar, and plain water, then continue to simmer until thickened.


2. Add ground dried chili pepper and sliced coriander to the mixture, stir well until blended. Turn off the heat and let it cool.


3. Start cooking Thai deep-fried meatballs by coating My Choice Surimi Crab Sticks, Tops fish balls, My Choice diced fish tofu, and pork balls with rice flour. Stab meatballs in wooden stick. Pat to remove the excess flour from the meatballs and let the flour coat them thinly, then set aside.


4. Next continue with deep fry batter. Add rice flour, crispy flour, limewater, and cold water into a mixing bowl, stir well until blended.


5. Season with salt, ground white pepper, and drop a few drops of orange food coloring into the mixed flour, stir to mix until well combined.


6. Heat the skillet over medium-high heat, pour in palm oil to the skillet for deep-frying. Coat the meatballs on sticks with deep fry batter, then fry in the skillet until crispy and golden brown. Remove the fried meatballs from the skillet, set aside to drain the oil.


7. Transfer Thai deep-fried meatballs to a serving plate and pair with dipping sauce prepared earlier. And now you can enjoy your favorite childhood snack!
