ใกล้เข้าสู่เทศกาลปีใหม่อีกครั้งแล้วค่ะ สำหรับปีใหม่ 2562 นี้ หลายท่านคงจะวางแผนเตรียมหาสถานที่เคาท์ดาวน์เป็นที่เรียบร้อยแล้ว และหากชาวกรุงท่านไหนที่ยังไม่มีแพลนจะไปเที่ยว วันนี้แอดมินเลยมาเชิญชวนไปทำบุญต้อนรับปีหมูทองที่จะมาถึงนี้กันดีกว่าค่ะ

1.วัดสระเกศราชวรมหาวิหาร (วัดภูเขาทอง) - Wat Saket Ratchawora Mahawiharn (Golden Mountain)

ตั้งอยู่ริมคลองมหานาค และคลองรอบกรุง แขวงบ้านบาตรตัดกับคลองบางลำพู เขตป้อมปราบศัตรูพ่าย เป็นวัดเก่าแก่ สร้างขึ้นมาตั้งแต่สมัยอยุธยา

สิ่งที่โดดเด่นมากของวัดสระเกศราชวรมหาวิหาร ก็คือพระบรมบรรพต โดยได้เริ่มสร้างในสมัยพระบาทสมเด็จพระนั่งเกล้าเจ้าอยู่หัว รัชกาลที่ 3 และแล้วเสร็จในสมัยพระบาทสมเด็จพระจุลจอมเกล้าเจ้าอยู่หัว รัชกาลที่ 5 ความสูงประมาณ 77 เมตร ด้านบนสุดบรรจุพระบรมสารีริกธาตุไว้ค่ะ

Located by the bank of Mahanak and Robkrung canals at Ban Bat sub-district (flanked by Banglamphoo canal), Pomprabsattruphai district. It is an old historic temple constructed in the Ayutthaya period.

Remarkable feature of Wat Saket (the Golden Mountain) is the man-made mountain known as “Phra Borommabanphot” which was first constructed during the reign of King Rama 3 and completed in the reign of King Rama 5 (King Chulalongkorn) with the height of 77 meters. The top of this mountain is where the Buddha’s relics are kept.

2.วัดราชนัดดารามวรวิหาร - Wat Ratchanaddaram Worawiharn

วัดต่อมา อยู่ไม่ใกล้ไม่ไกลกันค่ะ เป็นวัดที่มีเอกลักษณ์โดดเด่น ด้วยเป็นที่ตั้งของโลหะปราสาท ซึ่งมีหลงเหลือเพียงแห่งเดียวของโลกเท่านั้น

วัดแห่งนี้สร้างขึ้นในสมัยพระบาทสมเด็จพระนั่งเกล้าเจ้าอยู่หัว รัชกาลที่ 3 ซึ่งพระองค์ทรงทรงสร้างขึ้นเพื่อเฉลิมพระเกียรติแก่พระเจ้าหลานเธอพระองค์เจ้าหญิงโสมนัสวัฒนาวดี จึงทรงพระราชทานนามว่าวัดราชนัดดาราม เมื่อปี พ.ศ. 2386 ภายในวัดมีสถาปัตยกรรมที่สวยงามมากมาย อาทิ พระอุโบสถ, พระวิหาร, ศาลาการเปรียญ, กำแพงแก้วและศาลาราย, หอระฆัง, เขาพระฉาย ฯลฯ

Our next temple is not that far from the first one. It has truly outstanding features. To begin with, it is where the world’s last remaining metal castle (Loha Prasat) is located.

This temple was first constructed under the order of King Rama 3 of the Chakri dynasty to celebrate and honor Princess Somanass Waddhanawathy (later became the Queen consort of King Rama 6) hence bestowed the name “Wat Ratchanaddaram” in 1843. Inside the temple, there are a number of exceptional architectural wonders such as the main hall, the shrine, the sermon hall, the crystal walls and Sala Rai, the bell tower, Khao Phra Chai, etc.

3.วัดอรุณราชวรารามราชวรมหาวิหาร - Wat Arun Ratchawararam Ratchawora Mahawiharn

วัดแห่งนี้ตั้งอยู่อย่างโดดเด่นริมแม่น้ำเจ้าพระยา ตรงข้ามกับฝั่งของพระบรมมหาราชวัง เป็นวัดโบราณที่สร้างขึ้นมาตั้งแต่สมัยอยุธยาค่ะ

ปัจจุบันวัดแห่งนี้มีฐานะเป็นพระอารามหลวงชั้นเอก ชนิดราชวรมหาวิหาร มีสัญลักษณ์สำคัญ คือ พระปรางค์ ซึ่งมีลักษณะทรงขอม องค์พระปรางค์ประธานสูงถึง 81.85 เมตร ประดับด้วยชิ้นเปลือกหอย กระเบื้องเคลือบ จานชามเบญจรงค์สีต่าง ๆ อย่างสวยงาม เปิดให้พุทธศาสนิกชนและนักท่องเที่ยวได้เข้าไปเที่ยวชมและกราบไหว้ขอพรทุกวัน

This iconic temple is mounted on the bank of the Chao Phraya River on the opposite side of the Grand Palace. It is a historic temple which was built in the Ayutthaya period.

At present, this temple is ranked as one of the first class royal temples with the suffix “Ratchawora Mahawiharn”. Its important features include its 81.85 meter-tall stupa which was built in Khmer style beautifully lavished with pieces of shell, porcelains and painted ceramics. It is open for Buddhists and tourists to visit every day.

4. วัดราชบพิธสถิตมหาสีมารามราชวรวิหาร - Wat Ratchabophit Sathitmahasimaram Ratchaworawiharn

วัดราชบพิธสถิตมหาสีมารามราชวรวิหาร เป็นวัดประจำพระองค์ของพระบาทสมเด็จพระจุลจอมเกล้าเจ้าอยู่หัว รัชกาลที่ 5 โดดเด่นด้วยสถาปัตยกรรม ซึ่งมีการผสมผสานทั้งสถาปัตยกรรมไทยและตะวันตกเข้าด้วยกัน จนมีเอกลักษณ์เฉพาะตัว

ภายในพระอุโบสถเป็นที่ประดิษฐานของพระพุทธอังคีรส พระพุทธรูปที่มีลักษณะงดงาม ประดิษฐานอยู่บนฐานของชุกชีหินอ่อนจากอิตาลี นอกจากนี้วัดแห่งนี้ยังเป็นวัดประจำพระองค์ของพระบาทสมเด็จพระปกเกล้าเจ้าอยู่หัว รัชกาลที่ 7 อีกด้วย เพราะพระองค์ได้รับพระราชภาระในการทำนุบำรุงและบูรณปฏิสังขรณ์ วัดราชบพิธสถิตมหาสีมารามราชวรวิหารจึงเปรียบเสมือนวัดประจำพระองค์เช่นกัน

Wat Ratchabophit Sathitmahasimaram Ratchaworawiharn is the temple of King Chulalongkorn (Rama 5) which features a unique architectural layout. There is a fine combination between Thai and western architecture making it one of a kind.

Inside the main hall (Ubosot) is where the exquisite Phra Buddha Angkhirot image is located on the Italian marble base. Apart from that, this very temple is also the main temple of King Prajadhipok (Rama 7) as he carried the mission to restore and conserve this temple. Therefore, it can be said that Wat Ratchabophit Sathitmahasimaram Ratchaworawiharn is also the temple of King Prajadhipok (King Rama 7)

5. วัดเบญจมบพิตรดุสิตวนารามราชวรวิหาร - Wat Benchamabophit Dusitwanaram Ratchaworawiharn

วัดเบญจมบพิตรดุสิตวนาราม เป็นที่รู้จักของนักท่องเที่ยวทั่วโลกว่า "The Marble Temple" เพราะพระอุโบสถ พระระเบียง ประดับด้วยหินอ่อนที่ดีที่สุดจากประเทศอิตาลี ประกอบกับเป็นวัดที่มีความวิจิตรงดงามด้วยศิลปะสถาปัตยกรรมไทยโบราณ จึงมีนักท่องเที่ยวทั้งชาวไทยและชาวต่างประเทศสนใจเข้าชมจำนวนมากทุกวัน

Wat Benchamabophit Dusitwanaram has been renowned globally as the “Marble Temple” due to its main hall (Ubosot) and the balcony made from the finest Italian Carrara marble.
