วิธีทำ เริ่มจากหาถ้วยหรือชามในขนาดที่ต้องการ จากนั้นเติมน้ำลงไปในปริมาณที่พอเหมาะ หาดอกไม้หรือใบไม้ที่ชื่นชอบใส่ลงไปเพื่อเพิ่มสีสันและความสวยงามให้กับกระทง จากนั้นวางเทียนลงไปตรงกลางถ้วยหรือชาม โดยเพื่อนๆ อาจจะหาเชือกหรือเทปกาวยึดเทียนกับตัวถ้วยหรือชาม เพื่อกันไว้ไม่ให้ล้มด้วยนะคะ เมื่อประกอบร่างเสร็จแล้ว ให้นำถ้วยหรือชามแช่ในตู้เย็น ทำทิ้งไว้ในช่วงเช้าวันลอยกระทง พอตกเย็นมากระทงน้ำแข็งก็เซ็ตตัว พร้อมให้เพื่อนๆ นำไปลอยในแม่น้ำได้เลยค่ะ

Instructions: Starting from finding a perfect size bowl as you wish, fill in appropriate amount of water, place your favorite vibrant color flowers or leaves to garnish your Krathong, then place a candle in the middle of the bowl. You can tight candle with the bowl using a small rope or a duct tape to make it stay and prevent it from falling down. After that, freeze the bowl in the freezer. If you make it in the morning of Loy Krathong Day, your Krathong will be ready in the evening and you can float it into the river.

วิธีทำ นำกาบมะพร้าวตากแห้งมาตัดแบ่งออกให้มีขนาดเล็ก จากนั้นนำธูปเทียนมาปักไว้ตรงกลางกระทง แล้วนำดอกไม้ที่ชอบมาตกแต่งกาบมะพร้าวให้ดูสวยงาม ถ้าอยากให้กระทงของเรามีสีสันโดดเด่นไม่เป็นรองใคร ก็อาจเลือกดอกไม้หลายๆ สี มาตกแต่งก็ได้นะคะ เพียงเท่านี้กระทงของเราก็ดูสวยเก๋ไม่เหมือนใครแล้วค่ะ

คราวนี้แอดมินขอเอาใจสายเฮลธ์ตี้ที่อยากได้ไอเดียการทำกระทงดีไซน์สวยไม่ซ้ำใครกันบ้างด้วยการนำผักและผลไม้ที่มีอยู่ภายในบ้าน มาดัดแปลงเป็นกระทงที่ย่อยสลายได้ง่าย เช่น ผักกะหล่ำ ผักสลัด หัวปลี แตงโม ซึ่งในวันนี้แอดมินมีไอเดียการทำกระทงจากมะละกอมาฝากทุกคนกันค่ะ

วิธีทำ ฝานมะละกอให้มีลักษณะเป็นแผ่นยาวและบางหลายๆ ชิ้น จากนั้นนำใบตองมาม้วนให้มีลักษณะคล้ายกรวย และทับให้แบน จากนั้นนำแผ่นมะละกอมาพันรอบๆ ใบตอง แล้วพับคล้ายกับการทำบายศรี ทำแบบนี้ประมาณ 5 ชั้น แล้ววางพักไว้ นำมะละกอและใบตองมาทำซ้ำแบบเดิมอีกประมาณ 20 ชิ้น (ทั้งนี้ทั้งนั้นก็ขึ้นอยู่กับขนาดของกระทง และจำนวนชั้นที่เพื่อนๆ ต้องการค่ะ) จากนั้นนำเข็มหมุดมากลัดมะละกอพันใบตองลงบนกาบกล้วยฐานกระทงที่เตรียมไว้ จากนั้นปักเทียนและธูปให้เรียบร้อย เพียงเท่านี้ก็เป็นอันเสร็จ พร้อมลอยน้องๆ ในห้วยหนองคลองบึงได้แล้วค่ะ

Instructions: Cut papaya into thin long slices, roll banana leaf into cone, and press it to make it flat. Wrap papaya slices around banana leaf and fold them just like creating Bai-Sri. Repeat this step for 5 times and set aside. Do the same with 20 more pieces of sliced papaya and banana leaf, depending on the size and the number of Krathong that you make. Attach sliced papaya and banana leaf on banana trunk you’ve prepared. After that, put a candle and incense sticks on Krathong to get ready, then you can float your Krathong in the canal.
